My husband and I stopped here for dinner as we were driving back to our home in Maryland. There was a wait, but it wasn&#39;t long. The service was ok, but the food came out in a timely manner. Oh, the food! We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer and they were amazing. We both got steaks for the entree - my husband had the &quot;Das Boot&quot; with a loaded baked potato (cost $1 extra) and corn. His steak was a perfect medium - as was mine, though I ordered the steak and ribs combo with a sweet potato and baked beans. The potato was larger than my meat portion - I could only eat half! The cinnamon butter made it perfect, but it was still way too large! The ribs were falling off the bones and tasted heavenly. Overall, very yummy and it cost us $50. For what we ate, I found that very reasonable!

My wife and I went here for our 21st wedding anniversary. Food was great and inexpensive. We were looking for something a little different and we found it. The ambience wasn&#39;t high class, but that is not what we were looking for. They serve peanuts as appetizersand you can throw the shells on the floor. I got a 16 ounce steak for $18 and my wife got pot roast.

This place has the best sweet potato fries. I have never had any bad food when i have gone here. It seems like the service has not been the greatest the last 2 times i have gone there. Very good food, but be prepared to wait for it.

Prices are slightly cheaper here than in Triadelpha, WV. Lots of meat to pick from; ribs, meatloaf, pulled pork, chicken, steaks and..... well lots of other meat. Service was snappy and quick by a nice young lady. Draft beers were limited to Bud and Bud Light, but they do offer a full bar and some craft bottle beers. Can get busy so get there early. This is a throw your peanut shells on the floor and look at the mounted animals on the wall kind of place, and a real favorite among the locals. Family friendly. Worth a stop, but don&#39;t expect kale and low calorie options. Good sized menu for a pub.
